SATHASIVAM SASITHARAN

Sathasivam Sasitharan is a professional with over twenty-seven years of experience in the field of teaching pedagogy, capacity building, youth empowerment, career guidance, and social competency skills training.

I am a career development professional who is also involved in the field of community development for the past seven years with charities, trusts, educational bodies, and Non-governmental Organizations that are working towards the wider issues of development and capacity building.

My exposure to different cultures, customs and lifestyles by way of visits to Norway, Ireland, India, Nepal and of course living in the United Kingdom, in addition to my involvement and commitment with communities in Sri Lanka made me extremely sensitive to cultures, customs and rights and accept with understanding the human aspect of diversity and multiculturalism.

My research interests vary from teaching pedagogy to vocational and career guidance spheres.
